Meet our Physicians

Thomas W. Courtney, M.D.

Dr. Courtney obtained his degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.  He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. 

Dr. Courtney joined Winchester Orthopaedic Associates in August 2006.  His clinical interests include: arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, joint reconstructive surgery and general orthopaedics. 

Dr. Courtney is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, and Medical Society of Virginia.  He enjoys spending time with his family.
