Meet our Physicians

Stephen H. Martenson, M.D.

Dr. Martenson obtained his degree from the University of Virginia Medical School in Charlottesville.  He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at North Carolina Memorial Hospital (University of North Carolina) in Chapel Hill. 

Dr. Martenson spent 21 years in private practice at Winchester Surgical Clinic and joined Winchester Orthopaedic Associates in 2004.  His clinical interests include:  sports medicine, arthroscopy, and adult reconstructive surgery including total joint replacements.

Dr. Martenson is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, and Medical Society of Virginia.  He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and traveling.
