Patient Instruction:

 

Winchester Orthopaedic Associates, Ltd. will contact your insurance company to obtain pre-authorization for an exam. The office will schedule all diagnostic testing, referrals, and epidural steroid injections that were ordered by the physician. The office will then contact the patient via telephone or mail after this has been arranged. This process can take anywhere from 7 to 14 business days or longer.

Arthrogram Instructions:

You do not need to make any special preparations for this examination. You may eat normally. Arthrogram's are scheduled at Winchester Medical Center. Enter the hospital through the Outpatient Entrance and register at the Outpatient Registration desk in the lobby. Arrive approximately 30 minutes before your appointment time. Have your insurance information with you. Please remember to take your signed Physician's order with you.

 NOTICE: It is advisable for you to check with your insurance company to ensure that the cost of an exam is covered by your policy. This is not the responsibility of our office. The number to your insurance company is listed on the back of your insurance card.
