A.J. Lievre has been practicing Physical Therapy since 2002. He attended Shenandoah University and received his Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2002 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004. A.J. was certified by the APTA as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) in 2007 and was recently re-certified in 2017. He also successfully completed his manual therapy certification (CMPT) through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 2010. After being a full-time clinician for 12 years A.J. took a full-time faculty position at Shenandoah University in 2014. A.J. is currently the SU Physical Therapy Program course coordinator for the Orthopedics course series and Therapeutic Exercise course series.
A.J. continues to practice outpatient orthopedic physical therapy here at Winchester Orthopedic Associates. He is also a faculty member and mentor for the VOMPTI orthopedic physical therapy residency program. His clinical interest is focused on trying to restore function and improve the lives of patients who have chronic pain.
In his spare time, he enjoys planning and going on vacations with his wife, and taking walks, and playing ball with his dog.
