Orthopaedic services are provided to individuals whdo have an injury or illness involving the musculoskeletal system: bones, joints, or soft tissues such as muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves. This is intended to be general clinic information. Please do not hesitate to address questions you may have to your healthcare team. Bring to your Appointment:
If your specialist recommends surgery, procedures are performed either at Winchester Medical Center or Valley Health Surgery Center in Winchester, Virginia. *Please see Ortho General Office Policies for details on surgery pre-payments.
Once you receive an order for Physical Therapy (usually via mail), you will need to contact any Physical Therapy facility of your choice. Confirm that they participate with your insurance and schedule a convenient appointment. Take your white order form to your first appointment. If you have any questions you may contact our office. Local providers are listed in the local area yellow pages under “Physical Therapists.” Many local hospitals also provide physical therapy on or near facility grounds.
CT Scan’s are scheduled at Winchester Medical Center. You do not need to make any special preparations for this examination. You may eat normally. Arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time. Please remember to take your signed Physician’s order form with you on the day of your appointment. Enter the hospital through the Outpatient Entrance and go directly to Registration. Follow the signs in the lobby.
