Melissa is a full-time, physical therapist and the Director of Rehabilitation for the Winchester Division of CAO. She graduated from James Wood High School, received her Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University, her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University, and her orthopedic residency from UVA/HealthSouth Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program, earning an Orthopedic Certified Specialist designation. She continues to support the profession as membership with the VPTA & APTA and is an advisory board member for Shenandoah’s Physical Therapy Program. Melissa has many additional certifications including Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) she incorporates into her daily practice. In addition to treating patients, Melissa enjoys time outdoors and traveling with her husband and children.
